Where Almenor sits

• Almenor is a country on the Axirian peninsula, south of the central mountain range.
• Northern border: the mountain foothills — Almenor does not claim the high peaks.
• Fallcrest (○ on the peninsula map) sits on that northern frontier — last town before the unclaimed mountains and the Ethium ruins beyond.
• Sunfall (★ on the peninsula map) is the capital — in the south of Almenor, inland on the river.
• The Western Axirian Empire occupies much of the eastern peninsula; Almenor borders it.

Mountains

The central range is unclaimed — no country’s border runs through the mountain terrain. Borders stop at the foothills.
